1. Service Description

BillFairly provides hospital price transparency tools, medical bill analysis, and dispute letter generation. We help you understand what hospitals charge and whether your bill is fair compared to Medicare rates and other benchmarks.

2. Not Medical or Legal Advice

BillFairly is an informational tool. We are not a law firm, medical practice, or financial advisor. Our analysis and dispute letters are provided for informational purposes. We recommend consulting with a qualified professional for specific medical, legal, or financial decisions.

3. Data Accuracy

Hospital pricing data comes from publicly available CMS transparency files published by hospitals themselves. While we make every effort to present accurate data, we cannot guarantee that hospital-reported prices are current or error-free. Actual charges may vary based on your specific situation, insurance, and provider agreements.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Scrape or bulk-download data in a way that degrades service for others
• Misrepresent dispute letters as legal documents or attorney communications
• Upload fraudulent or fabricated medical bills
• Attempt to access other users' data

5. User Content

When you upload a medical bill, you retain ownership of that document. You grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing analysis. We delete uploaded bills after processing unless you explicitly choose to save them to your account.

6. Fees & Payment

Basic hospital price lookup is free. Premium features (bill analysis, dispute letter generation) may require payment. Fees will be clearly disclosed before you are charged. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

BillFairly is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for outcomes of disputes with hospitals or insurers. Our maximum liability is limited to fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or website notice.
